Welcome to IC Secure

IC Secure lets you watch your cameras live, find recorded footage, get alerts and share clips, from a web browser at app.icsecure.ai or the phone app.

How it fits together

• Your account is your company (or home). Everyone you invite works in the same account.
• A site (shown as a store in many places) is one location with an address.
• A recorder (NVR) at the site records the cameras connected to it. Some cameras connect on their own, without a recorder.
• An IC Core bridge is a small box at the site that connects its recorders to IC Secure securely, with no network changes. See install a bridge.
• Footage stays on the recorder. IC Secure plays it from there, and cloud recording can also keep event footage in the cloud.

Set up in this order

1. Create your account and start your free trial.
2. Add a site (accounts with several locations).
3. Add a recorder or add a camera.
4. Invite your team.
5. Install the phone app and choose your notifications.

Simple and Multi-site

IC Secure has two layouts, chosen by what you said you’re protecting when you signed up:

• Simple (a home or one business): the menu shows Cameras & Recorders, and the phone app opens on Home.
• Multi-site (several locations): adds Sites, Bridges and the Audit trail, the menu shows Devices, and the phone app opens on Sites.

You can switch for yourself under Account > Preferences > Interface. Your choice follows you to the phone app. These guides mention both names where they differ.

Administrators see every site. Operators and Viewers see only the sites they’re given. See invite your team.
