Roll out to many sites

A checklist for dealers and IT teams setting up an account with many locations.

  • Create your regions and districts first (Sites > Regions & districts).
  • Import every store from a spreadsheet with Sites > Import stores. Include store numbers, addresses and time zones so maps, times and search work from day one. See add a site.
  • Bridges with claim labels are the fastest: the installer scans the label at the site and the box joins the account. See claim a device.
  • For bridges without labels, Administrators can make many long-lived codes at once under Devices > Bridges > Bulk codes: choose How many and a Name prefix, then select Generate codes and Download CSV. Each code works once, for a year. The codes are shown only once.
  • For cameras with IC Connect built in, ask for several setup codes at once. They last 7 days. See add a cloud camera.
  1. Install the bridge and check it shows Online. See install a bridge.
  2. Assign it to its store with Rename / assign store….
  3. Add the recorder with IC Connect and Scan LAN. See add a recorder.
  4. Tick the recorder under the store’s Recorders at this store.
  5. Open the store’s Live tab and check every camera.

Invite district and store managers as Operators or Viewers, scoped to their region, district or store. Scopes on a region or district cover new stores automatically. See invite your team.

  • Sites shows every store’s health. Filter by Offline, Camera loss or Bridge disconnected, and use Sort: attention first.
  • Bridges shows software versions and lets you update everything overnight.
  • The Audit trail shows who viewed, exported or changed what, and when. Use Export CSV to share it.
  • For your own monitoring systems, use the API and webhooks.
