Plans and billing

Billing is handled by account admins on the Billing page. Other roles don’t see it.

Your plan is IC Secure Cloud. It is priced per device, and your Billing page always shows the current prices for your account.

Item Monthly Yearly (10% off)
Each recorder, IC Secure Recorder, or camera added on its own $29 $313.20
Each camera with Video Intelligence turned on $15 $162.00
Cloud recording, per camera $5 for 7 days, $10 for 30 days, $20 for 90 days Billed at the yearly rate

Bridges are free. You pay for the recorders and cameras connected through them.

Billing follows your setup automatically. When you add a recorder or turn on Video Intelligence for a camera, the change is added to your current invoice for the rest of the billing period, and removing one lowers the next invoice. The Usage card on the Billing page shows what you have now and your estimated monthly total.

New accounts get a 14-day free trial that includes 1 recorder or camera and 1 Video Intelligence camera.

  1. Open Billing.
  2. Under Start your subscription, choose Monthly or Yearly.
  3. Enter your card on the secure Stripe checkout page. You can also enter a promotion code there.

A card is required, but you are not charged during the trial and you can cancel any time before it ends. Admins get reminder emails 7 days, 3 days and 1 day before the trial ends.

Update your card, see invoices or change plans

Section titled “Update your card, see invoices or change plans”

Select Manage in Stripe on the Billing page. It opens your secure billing portal, where you can:

  • change or add a payment method,
  • download invoices and receipts,
  • switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel.

Admins get an email titled “Your IC Secure payment failed”, and a Payment past due banner appears across the app.

While billing is past due:

  • Still works: live view, playback, events, saved clips and everything already set up.
  • Paused: adding recorders or cameras, turning on Video Intelligence, and turning on or changing cloud recording.

Select Fix billing in the banner (or Manage billing on the Billing page) and update your card. Everything is available again as soon as the payment goes through.

Admins can close the account under Account > Profile > Close account. You’ll be asked to type the account name to confirm.

When an account is closed:

  • recording to the cloud stops on every recorder and everyone is signed out,
  • billing ends at the end of the period you have already paid for,
  • for 30 days, an admin can sign in and select Reopen account to pick up where you left off,
  • after 30 days the account and all its data (recorders, events, cloud footage, saved clips and users) are permanently removed. Anything under a legal hold is kept until the hold is released.

To remove just one recorder instead, delete it from Devices. A deleted recorder can be restored for 7 days.
